Tying instructions:
Tie in Pheasant tail fibers and wrap forward around the hook to form the rear of the body, leaving enough length of the fibers to turn down beard style. Pull the excess fibers back and place a few wraps at the front to fold the fibers rearward and form the first beard. Then tie in another clump of pheasant tail fibers just in front of the first for the front of the body. Again wrap the fibers forward around the hook leaving enough length to turn down to form the second beard. Pull the excess fibers back and wrap a few wraps at the very front to form the second beard. Continue wrapping to form the head. Whip finish and cement. |
